The conference entitled 'Big Society/Good Society?' was held on 1st March at The Brewery in London.

The workshop ‘Is Philanthropy the solution to funding the Big Society?’ was chaired by Cathy Pharoah with panellists Michael Green and Michael Edwards. Michael Green is an independent writer and consultant, based in London, and co-author of Philanthrocapitalism: How giving can save the world. Michael Edwards is an independent writer and activist based in New York.
