Philanthropy Impact was launched on 31^st January. This new organisation has formed out of the merger of Philanthropy UK, the European Association for Planned Giving and the Professional Advisers Forum. CGAP’s Beth Breeze spoke at the launch and Cathy Phaorah has written an article for their first magazine.

CGAP at the Universities of Newcastle and Exeter, the Community Foundation for Tyne & Wear and Northumberland, and the Newcastle Institute for Social Renewal at Newcastle University are organising a symposium on 27th March at The Great North Museum, Newcastle upon Tyne.

CGAP at the University of Kent is holding a one-day conference entitled 'Social Justice Philanthropy: Implications for Practice and Policy' on 1 March at NCVO, London.
