Charitable Giving and Philanthropy

Women are transforming the face of philanthropy. Strengthened by increased economic powers and changing socio-cultural roles, women have become major philanthropists and are leading some of the most influential and successful foundations and non-profit organisations across the globe.

Despite women’s significant contribution to and central role within philanthropy, our understanding of female philanthropy continues to be limited. To address this issue and to encourage wider debate, the Centre for Charitable Giving and Philanthropy (CGAP) at Cass Business School is hosting a discussion on Female Futures of Philanthropy. The event examined how the role of women as donors and leaders in philanthropy is developing and discussed the challenges and opportunities ahead.
