CGAP at Cass awarded legacy grant

Nov 27, 2012 | Category: CGAP News

Building on their work on philanthropic foundations, Tobias Jung, Cathy Pharoah and Jenny Harrow have been awarded a legacy grant by The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund (the Fund).

Bringing together the research of CGAP at Cass Business School and the Fund’s commitment to developing and sharing knowledge on foundation philanthropy, the legacy grant will contribute to three work themes:

- developing progressive thought leadership through consolidating, synthesising and developing knowledge on and for foundations;

- co-producing knowledge with foundations and providing an easily accessible knowledge resource for practice, research and education;

- proactive and engaged knowledge-mobilisation and knowledge-exchange across practice, policy and academia at national and international level.

The work will contribute to developing a more comprehensive and integrated understanding of foundation philanthropy in the United Kingdom and beyond.
